Dua for 21st Night

,یَا مُو لِجَ اللَّیْلِ فِی النَّہارِ،

O (One) who coils the night into the day,

وَمُو لِجَ النَّہارِ فِی اللَّیْلِ،

and coils the day into the night.

وَ مُخْرِجَ الْحَیِّ مِنَ الْمَیِّتِ،

O (One) who raises the living from dead,

وَمُخْرِجَ الْمَیِّتِ مِنَ الْحَیِّ،

O (One) who will raise those in the graves.

یَا رازِقَ مَنْ یَشاءُ بِغَیْرِ حِسابٍ،

O sustainer, you give sustenance to whom you please without measure

یَااللهُ یَا رَحْمٰنُ،

O Allah, O Beneficent

یَااللهُ یَا رَحِیمُ

O Allah, O Merciful

یَا اللهُ یَااللهُ

O Allah, O Allah

یَا اللهُ لَکَ الْاَسْماءُ الْحُسْنیٰ،

O Allah, You have the most beautiful names,

وَالْاَمْثالُ الْعُلْیا وَالْکِبْرِیاءُ وَالْاَلاءُ،

the highest examples, the grandeur, the bounties.

أَسْأَ لُکَ أَنْ تُصَلِّیَ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ،

O Allah, I beseech You to, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad,

وَأَنْ تَجْعَلَ اسْمِی فِی ہذِھِ اللَّیْلَةِ فِی السُّعَداءِ،

and place my name, in this night, among the fortunate,

وَرُوحِی مَعَ الشُّھَداءِ،

and my soul among the martyrs,

وَإِحْسانِی فِی عِلِّیِّینَ،

let my good deeds be (written) in the 'Illiyyin (Book of the virtuous),

وَ إِسائَتِی مَغْفُورَةً

and my evil deeds be forgiven.

وَأَنْ تَھَبَ لِی یَقِیناً تُباشِرُ بِہِ قَلْبِی،

O Allah, (And I beseech You to ) grant me a certainty which gives joy to my heart,

وَإِیماناً یُذْھِبُ الشَّکَّ عَنِّی،

and a faith which drives doubt away from me,

وَتُرْضِیَنِی بِما قَسَمْتَ لِی،

and make me pleased with what You have granted me.

وَآتِنا فِی الدُّنْیا حَسَنَةً،

(And I beseech You to) Give us good in this world,

وَفِی الاَْخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً،

and good in the Hereafter,

وَقِنا عَذابَ النَّارِالْحَرِیقِ

and save us from the punishment of the burning fire.

وَارْزُقْنِی فِیہا ذِکْرَکَ وَشُکْرَکَ

Grant me in it (Laylatul Qadr) Your remembrance, and Your gratitude,

وَالرَّغْبَةَ إِلَیْکَ وَالْاِنابَةَ

and desire for (pleasing) You, turning (to You for repentance), and success

وَالتَّوْفِیقَ لِما وَفَّقْتَ لَہُ مُحَمَّداً وَآلَ مُحَمَّدٍ

for all that You have granted Muhammad and his family,

عَلَیْہِ وَعَلَیْھِمُ اَلسَّلاَمُ

peace be on him and on them.
