قالَ رَسُولُ اللّهِ (صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ):
لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ حِلْيَة وَ حِلْيَةُ الْقُرآنِ الصَّوْتُ الْحَسَنُ.

The Messenger of Allah (blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) has said

“For every thing there is an embellishment (or a decoration), and the embellishment of the Qur’an is a good voice.”
