Ziyarat of Imam Husain on Laylatul QadrThis is a ziyarat of Imam Husain (AS) to be recited on the night of al Qadr
اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ اللهِ،
Peace be on you, O son of the Messenger of Allah.
اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ اَميرِ الْمُؤْمِنينَ،
Peace be on you, O son of Ameerul Mu'mineen.
اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ الصِّديقَةِ الطّاهِرَةِ
Peace be on you, O son of the Truthful, the Pure,
فاطِمَةَ سَيِّدَةِ نِساءِ الْعالَمينَ،
Fatima, chief of the ladies of the worlds.
اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يا مَوْلايَ يا اَبا عَبْدِ اللهِ
Peace be on you, O my master, O Abu `Abdillah.
وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكاتُهُ،
and the mercy of Allah, and His blessings.
اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ
I bear witness that,
قَدْ اَقَمْتَ الصَّلاةَ
you established prayers,
وَآتَيْتَ الزَّكاةَ
and gave Zakat,
وَاَمَرْتَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ
enjoined the good,
وَنَهَيْتَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ،
and forbade evil
وَتَلَوْتَ الْكِتابَ حَقَّ تِلاوَتِهِ
You recited the Book (of Allah), the way it should be recited
وَجاهَدْتَ فِي اللهِ حَقَّ جِهادِهِ
and you struggled in the way of Allah, the way it was its right,
وَصَبَرْتَ عَلَى الاَْذى فِي جَنْبِهِ مُحْتَسِباً
and you were patient in troubles on His side
حَتّى اَتاكَ الْيَقينُ،
until conviction(death) came to you.
اَشْهَدُ اَنَّ
I bear witness that,
الَّذينَ خالَفُوكَ
those who opposed you
وَحارَبُوكَ
and fought you,
وَالَّذينَ خَذَلُوكَ
and those who humiliated you
وَالَّذينَ قَتَلُوكَ
and those who killed you,
مَلْعُونُونَ عَلى لِسانِ النَّبِيِّ الاُْمّي
are cursed, by the tongue of the Prophet, the ummi
وَقَدْ خابَ مَنِ افْتَرى،
and whoever slackens will be disappointed.
لَعَنَ اللهُ الظّالِمينَ لَكُمْ
May Allah curse your oppressors
مِنَ الاَْوَّلينَ وَالاْخِرينَ
from the first ones to the last,
وَضاعَفَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْعَذابَ الاَْليمَ،
and increase on them the painful punishment.
اَتَيْتُكَ يا مَوْلايَ
I have come to you, O my master,
يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ اللهِ
O son of the Messenger of Allah,
زائِراً عارِفاً بِحَقِّكَ مُوالِياً
as a visitor, knowing your rights,
لاَِوْلِيائِكَ مُعادِياً
having love for your friends,
لاَِعْدائِكَ، مُسْتَبْصِراً
and hatred for your enemies,
بِالْهُدَى الّذي أَنْتَ عَلَيْهِ،
aware of the guidance on which you were,
عارِفاً بِضَلالَةِ مَنْ خالَفَكَ،
knowing the misguidance of those who opposed you,
فَاشْفَعْ لي عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ.
Therefore intercede for me with Your Lord.
