The month of Safar
The second month of the Islamic year sees the wafat of the Prophet (pbuh) and Imam Hasan bin Ali (as). It is a month in which the battle of Siffeen was fought by Imam Ali (AS). The ‘arba’een of Imam Husayn (AS) falls in this month.
