فَقَالُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِّلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ﴿٨٥﴾
So they said
On Allah we rely: O our Lord! make us not subject to the persecution of the unjust people:
تو ان لوگوں نے کہا کہ بیشک ہم نے خدا پر بھروسہ کیا ہے.
خدایا ہمیں ظالموں کے فتنوں اور آزمائشوں کا مرکز نہ قرار دینا
When Prophet Moses (AS) observed that none from among his people, save a few, trusted him, because they were in fear of Pharaoh and his chiefs, he advised them to put trust in Allah if they had indeed surrendered unto Him, then they recited this dua’a. We must also recite this dua’a daily to remain firm in our faith and to seek protection of Allah from the harm of our enemies.
