قَالَ رَبِّ ٱشْرَحْ لِى صَدْرِى ﴿٢٥﴾ وَيَسِّرْ لِىٓ أَمْرِى ﴿٢٦﴾ وَٱحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّن لِّسَانِى ﴿٢٧﴾ يَفْقَهُوا۟ قَوْلِى ﴿٢٨﴾
He said
O my Lord! Expand my breast for me,. And make my affair easy to me, . And loose the knot from my tongue, . (That) they may understand my word;
موسٰی نے عرض کی
پروردگار میرے سینے کو کشادہ کردے. میرے کام کو آسان کردے . اور میری زبان کی گرہ کو کھول دے . کہ یہ لوگ میری بات سمجھ سکیں
This prayer was recited by Prophet Moses (AS) when he commanded by Allah to go to Pharaoh and show him the power of Allah by the help of the two miracles given to him. Although Prophet Moses (AS) was going to Pharaoh under the instruction of Allah, equipped with two divine miracles, still he invoked Allah to set his mind at ease and to make his task easy.
