23:76

وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَٰهُم بِٱلْعَذَابِ فَمَا ٱسْتَكَانُوا۟ لِرَبِّهِمْ وَمَا يَتَضَرَّعُونَ ﴿٧٦﴾ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَابًا ذَا عَذَابٍ شَدِيدٍ إِذَا هُمْ فِيهِ مُبْلِسُونَ﴿٧٧﴾

And already We overtook them with chastisement, but they were not submissive to their Lord, nor do they humble themselves. Until when We open upon them a door of severe chastisement, lo! they are in despair at it.
