Dua for 25th of RamadhanRecite this Dua on the 25th Night of Ramadhan
اللهم صل على محمد وأل محمد
O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.
يا جاعل الليل لباسا
O (One) who made,the night a covering,
والنهار معاشا
and the day for seeking livelihood,
والأرض مهادا
and the earth a resting place,
والجبال اوتاداً
and the mountains as pegs.
يا الله يا قاهر
O Allah, O (the) Subduer,
يا الله يا جبار
O Allah, O (the) Most Powerful
يا الله يا سميع
O Allah, O All-Hearing,
يا الله يا قريب
O Allah, O (One who is) Near
يا الله يا مُجيب
O Allah, O (the One) who Answers
يا الله يا الله يا الله
O Allah, O Allah, O Allah,
لك الأسماء الحُسنى
You have the most beautiful names,
والأمثال العُليا
the highest examples,
والكبرياء والألاء
the grandeur, the bounties.
أسئلك أن تصلي على محمد وأل محمد
I beseech You to bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad,
وأن تجعل اسمي في هذه الليلة في السعداء
and place my name, in this night, among the fortunate,
ورُوحي مع الشهداء
and my soul among the martyrs,
واحساني في عليّين
let my good deeds be (written) in the 'Illiyyin (Book of the virtuous),
واسائتي مغفورة ،
and my evil deeds be forgiven.
وان تهب لي
(And I beseech You to )
يقيناً تُباشر به قلبي
grant me a certainty which gives joy to my heart,
وايمانا يُذهب الشك عني
and a faith which drives doubt away from me,
وتُرضيني بما قسمت لي
and make me pleased with what You have granted me.
واتنا في الدنيا حسنة
(And I beseech You to) Give us good in this world,
وفي الأخرة حسنة
and good in the Hereafter,
وقنا عذاب النار الحريق
and save us from the punishment of the burning fire.(HQ 2:201)
والرزقني فيها ذكرك
(And I beseech You to) grant me in it (Laylatul Qadr) Your remembrance,
وشكرك والرغبة إليك
and Your gratitude, and desire for (pleasing) You,
والأنابة والتوفيق
turning (to You for repentance), and success,
لما وفقت له محمد وأل محمد
for all that You have granted Muhammad and his family,
عليه وعليهم السلام
peace be on him and on them.
