رَبِّ قَدْ ءَاتَيْتَنِى مِنَ ٱلْمُلْكِ وَعَلَّمْتَنِى مِن تَأْوِيلِ ٱلْأَحَادِيثِ فَاطِرَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ أَنتَ وَلِىِّۦ فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلْءَاخِرَةِ تَوَفَّنِى مُسْلِمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِى بِٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ ﴿١٠١﴾
My Lord! Thou hast given me of the kingdom and taught me of the interpretation of sayings: Originator of the heavens and the earth! Thou art my guardian in this world and the hereafter; make me die a muslim and join me with the good.
پروردگار تو نے مجھے ملک بھی عطا کیا اور خوابوں کی تعبیر کا علم بھی دیا -تو زمین و آسمان کا پیدا کرنے والا ہے اور دنیا وآخرت میں میرا ولی اور سرپرست ہے مجھے دنیا سے فرمانبردار اٹھانا اور صالحین سے ملحق کردینا
This is the prayer of Prophet Joseph (AS) which he recited when Allah gave him kingdom, taught him wisdom, saved him from the harm of his brothers, set him free from the prison, and brought his parents to meet him. We must also recite this dua’a if we get what we want, particularly after attaining success in any work, and after coming out safe from difficulties.
