Surat As-Saaffaat (Those drawn up in Ranks) - الصافات

وَإِن كَانُوا۟ لَيَقُولُونَ ﴿١٦٧﴾ لَوْ أَنَّ عِندَنَا ذِكْرًا مِّنَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ﴿١٦٨﴾ لَكُنَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ﴿١٦٩﴾

And surely they used to say: Had we a reminder from those of yore, We would certainly have been the servants of Allah-- the purified ones.
